I always hear Republicans complain about taxes, but where else do they think we'll get the money to pay for roads and schools and our military? Bush's idea has been to cut taxes and borrow money from, of all places, China, which will have to be paid back with interest. He also has expanded the government at a faster rate than any of his predecessors . I thought conservatives were responsible with money? What gives?

This was not an invitation to further complain about your tax burden or liberals or how it is all President Clinton's fault. Answer the question! How do we pay for government services without paying taxes for them? Why is this so hard for you people to understand...

First off, ignore the simian saying liberals don't work or are all on drugs. A liberal working four jobs confronted Bush on TV recently, and he laughed at her. 49% of drug users live in the inner city...guess who the other 51% are?
But the fact is, most conservatives, Prez Shrub among them, just feel that their money puts them above the laws. Take a look around...white collar crimes, hate groups, recent attacks on the Constitution...no liberals involved.
I am a radical liberal...and I have THREE jobs so that I can afford to subsidize the insurance rates of millionaires living on active flood plains all over my state. Because, as we all know, smart people build their homes on active flood plains.

The idea is actually pretty simple. It's been proven time and time again, that when tax rates are cut, tax revenue actually grows. This has been proven in the 60's with Kennedy, the 80's with Regan, and over the last six years with President Bush.
As the tax rate is reduced, it allows companies and individuals to invest the money, creating more working capital to expand and create new business, therefor adding more tax base. As I mentioned with Kennedy, this approach has actually been utilized by some Democrats as well as Republicans. This isn't a partisan approach, it's economics. As long as you view the country as having room for expansion, it is a viable and reasonable course of action.

Not offense but.
I am US citizen original from a Latin American country.
And I say to you that I have been going to school too much to learn about what is all about Dem's and Rep. Politics etc. And I always end up with that issue about what is politics all about...
But....
Looks like ignorance have you wrong minded.
Conservatives=Tax payer=Working class people.
Dem's=Welfare=lazy none working, because they are under prescription medication to marijuana smokers, welfare.
I say Dem's wash brain people...How?t Giving them welfare easily with out working so they will go to support the Dem's party that is not doing any good.
Is just keeping them there in poor miserable low class people.
Why they target poor people that are in the welfare because they are easy target. Need it people.
Sad but the truth!
Instead should be helping them to get out that kind life.
I say if a person is not a handicap and not old enough then go to work for money.

The celebration that legislated the tax loopholes is probably to be the only that stood to learn from those loopholes, and for this reason might desire to correctly be the only whose individuals paid the lesser quantity of taxes - and besides, had the greater beneficial ingredient to those tax receipts funneled lower back to their acquaintances and associates via worthwhile contracts and pork barrel initiatives. So who's getting screwed the main right here? Do the maths.

"Ever since the Senate approved the last major tax relief bill, in 2003, revenues have increased every year. In 2004, they went up 5.5%. Last year, they rose 14.5%, the largest increase in nearly 25 years.
Total government collections, in fact, increased more after President Bush's 2003 tax cuts than they did after President Clinton's 1994 tax hikes."
When are morons like you going to understand that lower tax rates do not equate to lower revenue collections?

What does wanting to keep more of our hard earned money have to do with being lazy? At least we want to earn our money and not want a hand out (now who's lazy?).
We're not opposed to all taxes. We only want to pay enough to cover what's needed. I'm sorry that I don't want to pay for your food stamps and welfare because you're too lazy to work.

True conservatives have disowned Bush.
BTW, the Federal Reserve is a private institution. Why are we paying interest on money that WE print? Why do we need this private institution's PERMISSION to print money, with interest??? You want to save money? Abolish the Federal Reserve! We'll print our own money without their say-so!
