Crystal is not a type of rock or mineral, it is a form. Most minerals have a crystal form, values have the full range from priceless (like some examples of the carbon crystal known as diamond) to almost worthless. Perform the standard tests (hardness, streak, oxidizing/reducing flame, specific gravity, etc) to determine what type of mineral you have, then you can determine the value. To collectors, most crystals have the greatest value for their variety when they are unusual for size or quality.

It depends on what kind of crystal it is. If it's a diamong, it costs a lot, Quartz is pretty much valueless.

It would appear that you have found a piece of quarts crystal.

It isn't worth a lot of money unless it is optical grade or gem
quality.
