One person's opinion IS another's bash.
Nobody, I presume, would want to be any religion other than the one they currently are. That's why they are a member of that religion.
You can decide for yourself what you believe. Just because you were born into a religion doesn't mean you can't decide that you don't think it is right, and you can adopt any beliefs you feel are correct.
Nicole: I respect your views on polygamy, and your recognition of your bad spelling, but you should know that that is not a religion. Some religions endorse polygamy, but most--Mormanism, for instance--have abandoned it. A Morman who has multiple wives is not considered a true Morman by other Mormans. The Church outlawed it in 1890.

pligimist. sorry about the spelling but in that religion the church decides who you marry.. and get this, the guy you marry can have as many wives as he wants!!!! im serious. so you can be married to a man that has 4 other wives, once you marry this man those 4 other women become your sister wives. you all live together and have like a billion kids. now thats a crock of **** i would never be able to share a man. oh and before your married you cant go out and have a bf/gf. no none of that you do what the church says. thats just some thing i would not be able to do

I wouldn't want to be a scientologist because they don't believe in mental illness or psychiatric healthcare. I have a mental illness and I know that without psychiatric medicines, I'd have a lot of problems and be very depressed. I don't think it's right that they won't let people get the treatment they need.

I'm sure there are one or two religions kicking about that would be a bit of a pain to follow.
For example ones which say you cannot have ice cream at certain times, or limit watching movies only on certain days.
I think that covers most of them.

This questioner seems to misunderstand the biblical basis for Jehovah's Witnesses' respect of blood. Essentially, Witnesses believe that the so-called "New Testament" speaks plainly when the book of Acts instructs Christians to "abstain from blood" (the verses say nothing of "eating").
(Acts 15:20) Write them [the various Christian congregations] to abstain from things polluted by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled [the meat of which would contain blood] and from blood.
(Acts 15:28-29) For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no further burden to you, except these necessary things, 29 to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled [the meat of which would contain blood] and from fornication. If you carefully keep yourselves from these things, you will prosper.
An interested person who recognizes bible truth in much or most of Jehovah's Witnesses' teachings should at least study formally with them, regardless of his misgivings about one or another specific teaching. What might initially seem undesirable may eventually seem entirely understandable.
(Matthew 16:24) Jesus said to his disciples: “If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself and pick up his torture stake and continually follow me.

A Janist. They have to carry a small broom and gently remove any insects from their path so they don't harm or kill any living creature. They can't kill a fly or mosqito, etc.

That's an easy question.
All of them.
Imagine there's hundreds and hundreds of them and I don't fancy any.
Am I too hard to please.
Only one of them can be right. (Ask any of their followers and they will confirm this).
So still hundreds and hundreds of them must be wrong.
christ you've got a better chance of getting the lottery up than picking the only true religion

I dont think being a god-believing religeon would be to my preference. I do not see the reason to do so.
Also any involoving meditation would drive me nuts. I can not sit still long enough.

I'm Wiccan, but honestly I'd rather be an atheist than a Jehovah's witness-they are just to out there for me. Same goes for a sociologist are whatever they call themselves.
