I was 8, My sister, my friend and I worked at a chicken farm collecting eggs but when the roosters started to attack people we had to drive the egg cart around and pick out the ones that looked sick and smack their heads up against posts and then take all the dead ones out to the back of the farm and bin them. It wasnt the best job but we thought it was fun! LOL. We definetly shouldnt be alive the way we used to drive around the farm!
We got paid with a happy meal from MCs and a $2 coin
then i lived and worked behind the bar and in the kitchen at an old aussie pub when i was 16

The first job I had was working at a community swimming pool in the locker room. I did maintenance and locker security. I was 16 years old when I got this job.

My first job was as a salesperson at my local dept. store. I was 15 years old and had to get a special work permit because I was under 16. My first check was around $12.00 after taxes (only worked on Saturdays)

14 - I worked at a drug rehab center on a Marine Corps Base for a week. What a nightmare! Not a place for 14 year old girls.

I worked at a small local amusement park.
I was supposed to work with the grounds crew (cut grass, sweep up, paint) but I also was a ride operator, cook, and the worst waiter ever.
I started just before my 17th birthday.

Man that was a long time ago. I was 16, got a job at Bi-Lo Grocery Store. Was a bagger, cashier, stocker, produce, front end manager... pretty much everything lol.

11 y.o - picked strawberries before i went to school, and and after. 12 cents a quart. a good day was $4-5. cut lawns and the apple orchard where the strawberries were - 50 cents an hour. i was the richest kid in my rural neighborhood.
