Oh my gosh, I hope not....I'm still trying to figure out how electricity works....I'll never be able to figure out that one!

I don't think so, until we can find a way around the heisenberg uncertainty principle. To be able to teleport, we should be able to characterize each and every particle in the object we want to teleport. Thus we have to know the position and momentum of each and every particle. However, measuring/determining the momentum changes its position and vise versa. It is then impossible to simultaneously know the momentum and position of each particle. It is then imposible to characterize an object down to each and very atom's momentum and position.

Maybe non-living things, but think about it, if we break apart a living thing into nothing but data points, transmit them and reassemble them, do you thing the organism will survive? But I suspect you could teleport pure metals. I also be the energy required would make it very uneconomical.

But Orbit is correct, that's my real source, reading about it. I think they make use of Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle or photons, I forget.

We can time travel by going into a wormhole and teleport to the future if that's what you mean

I believe they have a working model of a transporter, but it only works at the atomic scale. I wouldn't say we have that far to go. Remember technology doubles every few years so 20 years from now, I suspect technology would be mind blowing. I mean... they already have holographic monitors/tvs that you can buy(but they cost a lot).

Sort of. Not the type where the old body is taken apart molecule by molecule, but the type where one travels through folds in the universe.

Ever is a long time! With todays knowledge and technology, not in the near future.

Of course! Quantum Teleportation! We know how to do it, we just don't have the technology. Don't worry, we'll just hold Santa hostage and make him give us his technology.
