Happiness is a state of being not of having and most people don't realize that. People who have very little can be much happier than those who have all they want. You will find that people who put God first are the happiest!

I also felt that way until I found Reality. This world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, Only one fourth of the Souls come here, (the less intelligent ones, that's us) We are not this body, IE, race, color, nationality, religion, gender, mind, intellect, senses, etc. We are eternal Spirit Souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. We have to realize our eternal relationship with our maker tp actually be happy. You are just more intelligent than the so called materially happy people. They are just in big illusion. You just have to take the next step to find the real thing and the real you, then you will be satisfied and happy always. For more info go to harekrishnatemple.co Read Bhagavad Gita as it is BY Bhaktivedanta Prabhupad-tells the purpose of human life and how to be happy. I love it. Write me if you want more info.

Because as humans, we have trouble feeling fully satisfied with what we have. Once we get what we want, we tire of it and want something better. This brings us dissapointment and ultimately put us into a complex that we can never get what we truly want. I have taught myself to be happy for the things I have, and not crave things too much. I always look to the positive side and stay as far away from the negative as possible.

Life sucks. It gets soggy too fast. I prefer Crispix instead. I remember when I was younger how Captain Crunch would tear up the roof of my mouth and get stuck to my teeth...ouch I mean yum. Think of your childhood and the good things back then like your favorite shows, treats etc. There has to be a better way to grow up and look forward to it. Kids seem to have too much homework for a society that still hasn't done theirs yet.

Because we pursue and have the wrong motives about life. Being lucky and having nice things satisfy not life.

Because the human condition is sad and I personally believe other people cause alot of it due to "me first" syndrome. I feel that most people are not good even though they think they are. Life is hard and no one goes unscathed through it.

To enjoy life we need to ask ourselves three (3) questions, we need to answer "YES" to the First two, the third will be strictly applicable to our individual circumstances. Q#(1) Does LIFE HAVE MEANING? Q#(2) Does MY LIFE HAVE MEANING? and Q#(3) What is that meaning that my life has. As for me personally I answered "YES" to the first two and MY MEANING is to be the best possible DADDY I can be to my three (3) children and the best possible Ex-Husband I can be to my Ex-wife!

Because you're not looking at the right things. Look "outside the box" and I guarantee you'll find something to be happy about...or to make yourself happy try a few RAK - Random Acts of Kindess" to someone...even if it's opening a door for someone and wishing them a good day. Look outside yourself and see others for whom they are...good luck
