In my opinion the Democrats are finally smartening up. They've had enough of Bush and his delusional lies, torture, spying on Americans, brutal bloody unjust invasions.

And the GOP rubberstamp Congressmen & Senators who survived the last election (some thru US Attorney misconduct?) can go on record supporting Bush and refusing to vote for this bill or over-ride his veto.

And those neokons out there in yahooanswers-land who don't allow email. I judt as soon you didn't answer. If you haven't the guts to stand up for what you say you're worse than the GOP Congress cartel..

Yes, let them go on record. so when the congressmen and women who ignore the wishes of their constituents are on record, their constituents can make an informed opinion on their representative's future employment with the Congress.

My opinion is that if the Democrats want to fight they should get out the guns/gloves and resolve it. This party politics crap is really pissing me off.
We elected them to serve our country NOT their party. Besides we didn't start the war they did; we are just finishing what they started. It is too late to discus wither or not we should be there....we are there. We need to stick it out our death toll is so pitiful compared to past wars that we have no right to complain. Forcing these bills through is pointless. He is a lame duck president.
As for Bush he is doing the best he knows how, and he has info that we don't. If you want to compare Presidents I'll hold up FDR the best Democrat president we have had. I would like to point you to the Supreme Court packing scheme and a few other bills he tried to pass.
Now is Bush such a bad president? Honestly we could have had Gore or Kerry.
