I am looking to build a new PC for gaming. I am not sure on what chipset to get. Give me some educated suggestions.

Slightly tough decisions there. I have recently upgraded (new computer) myself. With the monitor I already have (old CRT) I will not be pushing resolutions very high at all (under 1600 by 1200). So Crossfire and SLI are completely useless to me. So I choose this board:

The choice that I made was for a board that will support Vista with no issues at all (including it's on-board sound). So when (or if vista is ever fixed) new directx10 games comes out, I'll have an option to upgrade the OS and be ready for it.
