oh i don't think they investigate, i think when someone is reported to yahoo they just take them off with out a investigation. I would say they took your question off because someone did not like what you asked. there seems to be a lot of A holes that use Q&A.

If it didn't violate any guidelines, then there is a method of appeal. You should get an email telling you that it was deleted, and on that email, it will say something to the effect of "If you feel your entry has been removed without cause, click here."
As for freedom of speech, it doesn't apply here unless Yahoo! says it does. Yahoo! is not payed for by tax dollars, and it is not public; it is privately owned, but free for use because of advertisements and things of the sort. They have every right to decide what is said on here just as you have every right to kick someone out of your home who is saying things you do not like.
All in all, MOST of the people who claim freedom of speech are either saying inappropriate things, or they are talking poppycock.

You don't have freedom of speech on a private chat site or message board. People really like to throw the term freedom of speech around. A private company doesn't have to give you the right to say a darn thing.

They've been doing this to me. Anyone can give you a violation if they don't agree with your point of view & yahoo does nothing about it. I think these violations should come back on the people who make these false accusations, double! Maybe that would stop it.

They aren't. I am quite certain your question violated some sort of guideline, as I find that idea much more probable than the idea of Yahoo being in on some sort of conspiracy to destroy free speech.

There is a thin line Between Slander and Freedom of Speech consider the question and its content and then rethink your question.

The violations are coming fast and furiously in the last few days, it is unexplainable. All of mine, the list is growing, didn't violate any standard.

Let us know what the question is. This may or may not be a freedom of speech issue.

It happens. Try again, I've had it happen when a link is posted directly below. It's anti-spamming efforts. Accidents happen with preventative measures in place.
