Other creatures are evolving to survive better in our environment. Rats and mice are becoming more resistant to poisons, this is evolution.
Other animals do not need to evolve like we did, they just need to pass on their genetic material to be successful.
Remember, the dinosaurs lasted longer than we did, and would probably still be here if it wasn't for a large asteroid wiping out most of life on Earth 65 million years ago.

I wonder this too. Are all creatures on a path to self-realization like humans, or simply to get better at living, eating, protecting themselves, hunting, or whatever it is they do? Personally, I get nervous when you hear news about chimps making tools or things that mimic human behavior. Yiiikes!

Evolution can tell you about the past and the present, but not about the future. The beneficial mutation coupled with the proper selection pressure is not foreseeable; conjecture, if you like.

as humans keep destroying the homes of earth's animals, they must find new ways to survive. maybe some creatures will grow wings, get camo, become a fighter, learn to swim, learn to walk, learn to be fast, you never know!!

I assume it is possible. The only obstacle could be humans. We may prevent any other organism from becoming as developed as we are purposly to try to prevent conflict, or accidentily.
