Probably a yeast infection, try to avoid using any soaps when you wash your vagina. Also avoid wearing nylon tights as the make it warm and moist down there which is an ideal breeding ground for yeast infections (commonly known as thrush). Go to your chemist and pick up a treatment for yeast infections. The best ones now have one pill that you take once and a cream that you apply to your vagina that soothes the itching. You can buy them over the counter.
It would be good if you could talk to your mum or dad about it, but not so important if the problem goes away in a few days after treatment. If the problem persists then you should defiantly speak to a doctor about it.

Ok. Calm ^_^
For starters, leave it alone (dont scratch etc). It will irritate the delicite tissue and so the itchiness will worsen.
Do not use lots of soap and especially not strong or fragranced soaps.
If you can stand it stop using soap all together for a while.
Soap can unbalance the PH of the tissue which makes it itchy.
It's possible you may have thrush. This is not a sexually transmitted thing and is easily helped. Look it up if you wanna know more.
Just talk to your mum or an older sis or a woman you trusy about it- almosy every woman will get thrush at some point in their lives.
I have.
Hope this helps!

You might have an infection such as a yeast infection. Maybe you could get an over the counter item for that if it doesn't get any better I would definitely see your doctor. They will be able to tell a lot with just a urine sample. With all the changes your body is going through I am sure it probably isn't anything serious. Welcome to woman hood :)

Go to the doctor sweetie. It sounds like you may have a yeast infection, which you need a doctor to diagnose. Because you're so young you may not be able to use regular over the counter products. It may be an irritation also. Have you switched soaps recently? Stick to a mild, unscented soap like Dove and wear cotton undies.

There's a number of factors could be contributing here: rash, diet, lack of water, lack of breathing space around your genitals (wearing tight clothing and/or artificial- synthetics), and maybe you are also sensitive to certain chemicals in soap/detergent, etc. My guess: it's likely to be that, if not jock itch. You say it's not the latter, but only by going to the doc and getting a diagnosis can you be sure.
