You have a Republic of Mexico 8 Reales coin KM# 377.10. The M (should be a small o on top of the M) after the 8R is the mint mark for the Mexico City mint. M.H. after the date is the initials of the assayer. Due to this mint being the largest in Mexico, there is much confusion as to just who's initials belong to whom. At the smaller mints they had a lot fewer assayers at one time usually only one, that was not true at the Mexico City mint. The coin is .903 silver and has .7859 actual silver weight. A little over 3/4 of a troy ounce. This coin usually sells for $10 to $65 depending on grade. Dealers will pay less and this date is not so scarce, for it had a mintage of 2,154,000. It is still a highly collectible coin. By the way it is a form of a liberty cap, not a crown. Just like early U.S. 1/2 cents and large cents had liberty caps also. Hope this helps, I have always like these coins and lot of them actually made it to China, due to their high silver content and accurate weight.
