Unless you want to get married again soon then wait, what will it hurt besides the fact thats its on paper. And if he will not agree to any other ideas to have a speedy divorce then your out of luck anyway. Move on with your life like your're already divorced. And i find out what the law is in your state for legal seperation, in my state you can divorce after a year.

You can get the divorce without his signature. He has so many days to respond. If he doesn't, they'll probably rule in your favor anyways. It just takes a little longer...but not THAT much. The courts don't fool with people like this anymore. File, and don't worry about it.

Do you live in the United States? If so, it isn't the 1950s. You don't need him to sign to get a divorce. Call a lawyer, and you're as good as done.

First of all you have to FILE and have him served. If he does not respond to the service within the alloted time you will be granted a default decree of divorce. If he responds he has the right to take it to court and battle it out there.

He doesn't have to sign or show up if he doesn't they will review it again in 30 to 90 days and if he is still a no show it will be over and his rights to everything is gone. Good Luck.
