Are the evils of socialism and anti-US sentiment worth persuing that far?

Socialism isn't inherently evil, and surely not worth pursuing war.

How in the world do you get socialism being evil?
Socialism is founded on the idea that the nation's resources are distributed or directed by the people for the common good. I'm not quite sure how one would percieve that as evil.
People are evil, not socio-economic theories. A system is only as evil as the people who implement it.

Sorry, no regime changes over here. France better hope and pray they pull out of the socialist spiral that is taking them into the third world status.

France one way or the other will not affect us at all. France has had no power to project since the beginning or world war !!.

No, I won't be surprised if those socialists win the French presidency, and it does not justify U.S. regime change.

The French people I've met don't have an anti-US sentiment as much as they have an anti-BUSH sentiment.

We'll lets just pray for Sarkozy, but I think the U.S. should take a harder stance on France if she is elected. Granted, its not really our business directly, but France could really go downhill with her in power.
