Are we talking about a chicken egg? If so, the egg comes first because you'd have to be chicken to lay an egg and not a chick. And evolution didn't create a chick it created a chicken

Despite the problems of HOW, the simple fact of the matter is that, the egg could not have come first BECAUSE an egg requires a chicken to keep it warm, or else it will die. Therefor the chicken MUST have come first.
