Can i put a partition on my hard drive without partition magic? It says it's not compatible with Vista. I have about 2 gigs of audio that i want to keep before I reformat my hard drive and i don't want to separate them and put on 29 disks. is their a way to zip them to fit onto 1 disk? thats actually 2 questions. sorry.

You can get a 4GB USB flash ram for $70, or just burn some CD's. Even if you had a partioning program, they're kinda risky and you should back up the files anyway.

Dze said the answer I was going to suggest. Find another hard drive and transfer your audio or what else you wish to save by disconnecting the CD-and add the extra drive there using it as a "slave." After you have done what you need to do to the Master drive, transfer your data from the slave using My Computer so the files retain their original characteristics......

no they are already compressed they wont shrink much more ... ur best option is to buy an external harddrive ...
