Will not be an easy game for either side, however Man U have 6 of their top players out for the match now so it's up to Milan as to whether they can successfully exploit that advantage. 6 players is a huge disadvantage, I mean teams struggle with 1 or 2 missing. Milan were never going to be easy, this just makes it more of a challenge, but Old Trafford is a powerful place for United so I think it's far from over, injuries or not. I'm saying 2-1 United but anything can happen.

I guess those are the key-points in strictly order:
1. Man-UTD is dealing with a never seen before defensive line. G. Neville, Ferdinand, Silvestre, Vidic are injured. Big trouble for Red Devils. O'Shea and Fletcher can't perfectly cover Gilardino and Kakà.
2. Scholes is eligible to play again. This is a world top level mid. Having Jankulovski and Ambrosini busy to stop C. Ronaldo, Seedorf facing Carrick, Gattuso should mark Scholes. Now, the tactical point is to move in centre midfdield Scholes to cross his way with Pirlo. Having Gattuso following him, M-UTD could balance numbers in midfield, giving free movements to Giggs (Oddo), Smith (Nesta), and Rooney (Maldini). To create game moves with 3 forwards facing 3 defenders is always deadly. I guess Sir Alex is studying this tactic.
3. Morale - Milan is playing well, but M-UTD is at heaven with their amazing performance with Roma. If they will play an attack match, it'll be a great advantage, especially if Heinze and Fletcher should run with the ball. If Milan could control defensively the match, they have the advantage to quickly switch the game tempo. Milan should be calm, they have the next match at home.
4. Goalies. Sorry to all supporters, they are in an equalizer, and they're all capable of awful plays, Van Der Saar, Kalac and Dida if he would recover form a slightly injury. Anyway, both teams are full of players able to shoot from distance. Free kicks and corners were a disaster to Milan in this Serie A season (many mistakes forced them out of Scudetto rush). Sir Alex perfectly know this issue. If both teams are sharing the match control, it's sure some M-UTD forwards will play back and try to force opponents to foul them. However, this way to play will encourage Milan deadly counterstrike.

So, my prediction is a draw. M-UTD has more tactics than Milan, but they need to leave Kakà some free movements if they want to play an offensive game. And their defensive line is in trouble.
Needs to add usually semis are more entertaining than the final, I guess it'll be a sparkling match.

2-2

Lol Christian.
I'm not gonna be cocky.. I'm gonna be cautious like before the Roma game. United needs to STEP IT UP this time, no joke. This is AC MILAN we're talking about, they're no easy feat! We need to seriously work on our defense, with Vidic gone. I really really hope we can pull through... it's so hard to say what the score will be, but i'm hoping to GOD that United win!

Have to go with Man U. They look hungrier than Milan at the moment. But never count out the Italians, so it should be a very good game.
