However, he pulls out every time and his fluids only went in me once, when I was on my period. I am still not pregnant. Should I be worried about infertility problems or should I just wait until we come to the point where he will release his fluids in me?

At this point fertility issues are not an issue they only become an issue after 12 months of the guy actually ejaculating inside of you. If you are trying to concieve then he needs to stop pulling out, if you are not ttc then the pulling out method is not very effective as it can still cause pregnancy due to pre *** however its not too likely but the risks are still there

Withdrawal is 80-90% effective, some studies among married couples show it is closer to 96% effective.

That means out of 100 women using it, at most 20 will get pregnant each year. I wouldn't be at all concerned.

I have used withdrawal twice for periods of about 7-12 months and it has worked fine. And I have gotten pregnant in one month, and two months when not using it.

How well does it work in preventing pregnancy?

* IF
* before penetration a man who has recently ejaculated urinates to get rid of any left over sperm.
* the tip of the penis is wiped dry of lubricating fluid before penetration
* the penis IS withdrawn BEFORE ejaculation
* ejaculation occurs outside the vagina and well away from the vaginal opening
* THEN
* withdrawal has an approximately 80-90% effectiveness rate, or better.
* BUT
* control is difficult. This last minute method is risky. It offers NO protection from sexually transmitted infections, including HIV; even the pre-ejaculate fluid can contain infection along with sperm

Wait for the full release before getting concerned. Even though it isn't a very good form of birth control the pull out method is still somewhat effective. Also, you could be doing it and not ovulating. Timing plays a big role in becoming pregnant. No egg, no sperm, no baby!

Before you start freaking out about infertility, do you know your body? Do you know how long your cycle is? When do you start ovulation? If you know the answers the to these questions then you have nothing to worry about. If you are healthy and have a period, and have not had a significant STD, then read up on understanding your body.

Women are quick to assume that they infertile. Once you learn about your cycle and when YOUR ovulations begins, ends, and so forth, you'll be more in charge.

Don't worry about infertility untill the two of you are activly TRYING for a baby and its been over a year. I used that same method w/ my husband for 5 years and we never got pregnant. Once we started trying it only took two months. You have nothing to worry about.

It doesn't matter if he "pulls out" you can still get pregnant. My fiance & I had unprotected sex for 2 1/2 years....I am 7 weeks pregnant!!! It'll happen when the time is right. We weren't trying to get pregnant but we weren't preventing it either.

Are you trying to get pregnant? If so, why is he pulling out? A doctor isn't going to diagnose you with infertility if you are not actively trying to conceive for at least a year. Maybe he is pulling out because he really doesn't want you to get pregnant. I think you should talk to him.

Well honey if he is pulling out, all though that method isn't fullproof, then it stands to reason that you wouldn't be pregnant. Even after a year. Are YOU trying to get pregnant? It sounds like he isn't. Maybe you need to talk to him about it if you are. But only after a year of unprotected sex and NO pulling out, should you start to be concerned about not getting pregnant.

if u were on your period then its highly unlikely to get pregnant. its possible but really small. and if he has only "released" in u once then dont worry. i'm sure u know that to get pregnant u need his "fluids" in u more then one time. u are probably fine. just not hitting your ovulation points. if it makes u feel better then try talking to your doctor. good luck and god bless.

Your wanting to get pregnant? Well he has to release all of his sperm in you! Pre-ejaculation does contain sperm but a very small amount! If you want to get pregnant your gonna have stop the pull out method!
