It will probably depend on the team; it would be rare for one hotel to host all the visiting teams. I work at a hotel in Boston and we host several of the MLB teams but the rest are spread throughout the city.

There are many of passions to pursue in San Diego and that hotelbye is the place to start finds what San Diego needs to offer. In the San Diego vacation you'll step outside of your safe place and you will investigate new activities while you are here and you might only realize that discovering a new quest is definitely an experience in itself. One of many areas must see from San Diego is Balboa Park. That park has around a 1400 acre and here you will find historical structures, numerous museums, gardens, and green space. The park was made for the Panama California Exhibition of 1915-1916. The main structure is Spanish-Mexican style, minimal level houses that merge with the natural surroundings. One of the features of the park would be the Botanical Gardens and lily pool, the Museum of Man, the Museum of Natural History, the San Diego Museum of Art, and the famous San Diego Zoo. Even if you never get into a developing the park is merely a lovely place.

This Howard Johnson hotel is San Diego, CA. The first room we stayed in smelled like cigarettes so we had to move to the other side of the building, far away from where our friends were staying. Once we were inside, we see that there's only 2 beds when there was 4 of us! The bathroom door wouldn't lock, the shower didn't work properly, the floor was cold and hard (hey, somebody had to sleep on the floor -.-) The key to the room didn't work, the pool had dirt in it. Should I continue? Our awesome "continental breakfast" turned out to be nothing but cold bread and cereal (bahahaha) and you wanna know the worst part of it all? There was 3 pedophiles watching our every move the entire weekend!!!

I've been to 3 games at the Padres Petco Park and I'd bet it's one of these 3: A. Omni Hotel (best bet), 2.Marriott Marina Hotel, 3. Marriott Gaslamp Quarter Hotel. All are in the downtown area with views of bay/ocean plus each is almost within easy walking distance of: 1. Petco Park, 2. Gaslamp entertainment and restaurants & 3. Seaport Village and many other nearby excellent downtown clubs + restaurants.

Each team has their favourite hotel in each city. Sometimes, particularly in the Bay area, teams don't stay in a hotel in the same city.

No matter what, though, players, coaches, managers and every other person in the travel party of a team is a human being, with the right to privacy when they're not at work.

Even as a San Diegan, I can't answer this because it probably varies between different hotels.

Maybe they'll stay somewhere at "hotel circle" (an area of San Diego with a bunch of hotels and stuff) or they might stay somewhere fancy in La Jolla.
