if DNA is ATG
what will mRNA, and tRNA be?
i don't understand this?

not for dna but for rna

mRNA is just complementary to the DNA strand, therefore when DNA undergoes transcription, the mRNA will be UAC... the complementary nucleotides of ATG.. then when tRNA comes in contact with mRNA, the anticodons on the tRNA will have to be AUG in order to pair with UAC..

in summary

DNA: ATG
mRNA: UAC
tRNA: AUG

remember A pairs with T, and C pairs with G in DNA
and A pairs with U, as well as C with G in RNA

ATG is the DNA codon for methionine.
