NO! They will only use such talks as proof of Our Cowardliness. They then will grow stronger, and more bold in their War Against Us.

America talks to Iran all of the time through business transactions and through the diplomatic channels at the U.N.
If you think the United States Executive Branch should hold direct talks with the Iranians who would they be dealing with, the Mullahs directly or their mouth piece President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. It's all a stall so they can produce atomic weapons before their people starve or revolt, same as for the North Koreans.

Yes. I think there is much to be gained by both sides, if we leave the past behind us. While being warry of any deceptions, we can actually come to an agreement, and possibly even re-open the US Embassy in Tehran. The Persians aren't a bad people, you know. They just have to know we are the ultimate merchant, and we do not bow before demands by religious fanatics, though we will recognize them as having the right to do so, if that is what they want.

Yes. Talking is good, but we're not going to let Iran make the demands for the talk.

no, I think Iran knows what the F is going on and they are using it as a tool to delay. Iran needs to be talking to the UN and doing what it needs to do to calm Europe and the rest of the middle east in regards to their nut case leader having nuclear weapon technology. People are fools to think the US is the problem here, and that is what Iran is counting on, the many liberal fools out there.

They will if Iran will comply with the UN resolution.
Ahmadinejad is the one who keeps walking away from the talks.

Iran needs to take the first step. And it's as simple as them to stop holding "DEATH TO AMERICA" rallies.
While they're doing that.. what possible reason is there for us to believe anything they say?

Yes,
With a MachineGun and a army. Then they will listen and they wont think they're sooooo tough, and they will comply. I am all for Diplomacy, but there are some countries that just dont understand Diplomacy, they understand Explosions, gunshots, and death.
