Does anyone ever hear an accent similar to their own and think it's sexy or is it just the different sound that turns us on?
Currently I am getting excited over, East Coast of Scotland, Northern England, and the Welsh accents!!

I'm a Mackem but I don't think the North Eastern accent is sexy. On TV/radio, it's very amateurish. I like Ant & Dec as presenters but cringe at their accents. It's the same with the Big Brother narrator etc.
I like the New York, Welsh and French accents.

I myself have a very little southern accent being from Texas.
oooo I love the Scottish accent, and the British too! But my fave is Dutch cause I'm married to a very sexy Dutch guy ;o)

This seems a little backward to me. A person who speaks with an accent of some kind (and everyone does) does not think that they have an accent. I know I certainly don't think I do, but my husband is quick to point out that I tend to put overly long O sounds onto several different words (his favorite to tease me about is Oak). So I think a better question would be which accent do you find sexy. In that case, Southern Georgia.

Hehe...I'm from Northern England (Lancashire NOT Merseyside)...I don't think my accent is sexy...but theres a girl I know from the other side of my town and ooooohhhhhhhh myyyyyyyyyyy word!!! I could listen to her talk all day.

yes, i have a very nice southern accent. i was born and raised here in dallas, texas. people from other states can pick up real quick i am in the south when i am on the phone at work with customers or other clients,etc. they have asked me what part of the south am i from and i say texas. so i think my dallas thing is working rather well for me. it just comes naturally. yeah, guess you could say my accent is sexy. i know the guys love it.

I'm an Ohioan who's lived in the South for the last 20 years. Does a nasal drawl turn you on? Didn't think so.

Im pure Aryan [hence my blue eyes & blonde hair] & I have a German accent [Aryans are from germany]. Anyways, I sound like Jael Strauss from Americas Next Top Model. It can be a good thing to sound different and "exotic", but if Im prank calling someone it's a curse. :/ lol. Good question! I love east coast accents!
