does any one know any good restaurants down by huntington and newport beach?

i was wondering if any one knew any good restaurants or fun places to go to for a birthday party? do both of these beaches have fire pits? will the water be warm in may? any thing fun to do please let me know~~

Downtown Huntington has lots of restaurants. For a birthday, you might want to check out Fred's. This is a very fun restaurant with lots of Mexican food. They also have a pool table in the restaurant. There are fire pits in Huntington along the beach but I don't think there are any in Newport....I don't remember.

The water will still be a little chilly in May, but not too cold to where you'd need a wetsuit. You should be good to get in the water.

As for fun things to do, Downtown Huntington is a great place to walk around, check out the shops and watch the surfers. There's also a movie theatre downtown.

The Old Spaghetti Factory in Newport is great for birthdays. Crab Cooker next door is the BEST, but a little too small if you have a larger party of, say, more than 6 people.
Nearest beach to Newport that has fire pits is Big Corona (a few miles south of Newport). The water is not "real warm" usually, maybe on really hot days in the summer it might feel good, but water off the Pacific coast in CA does not get warm like in Hawaii. Good luck!

Fred's Mexican in Huntington beach. They do have a fire pit. Never know what the weather will bring.

Try citysearch.com pick the city you want and they have every thing! There is a guide for price, parking, kids, romance and more. Even have user reviews. And if the restaurant has a web site it's there too. Good luck

the closest I know of is redondo beach..El Torito on the pier...and then there is the comedy club also in Hermosa Beach but you have to be 18 to get in there I believe.
