don't worry about what you don't have. look at what you have and be happy. even if you had all of the things listed, with a pessimistic attitude you'd still want more, because there's always something newer and better coming out. and you can't compare what you have to other people. screw other people. invest your time in what really matters. find a hobby, hang out with friends. 15 years from now are u going to look back at your life and remember your x box 360 and the big screen hd tv you played it on? or are you going to remember all the fun times you had with your friends and family

Remember that you cannot take that stuff with you! He who dies with the most toys still dies. lol.
Seriously, though. The consumer culture will drive you absoltely insane. You'll never have everything you want. There will always be something newer, something more expensive or whathaveyou. Just try to be grateful with what you have. Most Americans do not realize that, in this world, if you have $58 to your name, you are among the richest 13% of the WHOLE WORLD'S population. It's baffling and sad at the same time.
Besides, if someone is judging you by your material possessions or lack thereof, they are not good people to be around anyway.
Cheers!

As for me, I don't want all that worldly sin on my shoulders anymore, so I praise and worship God the Father in my heart and my spirit and find I am completely content and satisfied though as we speak I am a single 36 yr. old mom of four daughters ages 10,11, 13 and 15 and I am blessed beyond what I ever deserve to be because of how I used to live my life when I lived for a big hd tv,playstation 3 and so on.

All the things you mention are "entertainment" devices. Find an inexpensive hobby to fill your time. If you have something more fun to do than play a PS3, does it really matter if you have one? (For example - I play disc golf)
If it still matters that you don't have that PS3 or iPod, then you're looking for "status". Not only should you not care about approval from others, but what's more important than status or approval... RESPECT - is earned.

The brief list you compiled is stuff that will break, wear out, become outdated etc. Remember it is just stuff. When Anna Nicole Smith died, she did not take her ipod with her in the box they put her in. You won't be able to either. Focus on that.

Just remember there are MILLIONS of people worse off than you. You have electricity, a toilet, toilet paper, enough food to eat, and hopefully, good health, and someone who loves you. The materialistic stuff come and goes.
