That depends -- are there hot girls in this small town? What's the female to male ratio?

Some people think they are, but I'm a fan. I wouldn't call it boring, I'd just consider it different. And when I say different, I mean it in every sense of the word. I love cities and probably always will, but it's not somewhere I would want to live long term. I like the small town, more laid back feel of a small town. It keeps me sane and down to earth.

Not if you like gossip! That seems to be what's always going around in my town. Everybody knows everybody, so there is always something to say about someone. I usually just keep to myself. I like small towns, they are a little quieter and less hectic, although they DO have their downsides. The only forms of entertainment here are bars, a little movie theater, and a bowling alley. We have alot of youth who are into drinking and drug use. It would be a nice town if it catered more to the young people, and gave them something to do, something to get them to be more active. I like small towns, but I prefer ones that are not so run down. Most of the people here are also very unmotivated as far as their lifestyles. Most people who are born here never leave, or leave and then eventually come back. I don't plan on staying here my whole life. I'm sure there are some very nice small towns, though. Those are the types I'm looking to live in. :)

I grew up in Mishicot, Wisconsin, population 1400. I think it is boring. We had 7 houses on one well until I went to college, we had very low water pressure. That is when they got village water. We had party line telephones. If you unscrewed the receiver, you could get all the gossip and they didn't know you were listening. Yes we could "hitchkike" because everyone knew everyone. However this meant everyone knew your business. When I got a speeding ticket, my parents knew before I even got home. Growing up meant that the only ethnic food was Pizza Hut. We had to travel 15 miles for a McDonalds. The local library mailed books to us that we chose by catalog.

I went to college when I was 17. I was so glad to leave the small town. Now I live in the Chicago suburbs. I love the big city.

YES They are so boring that as soon as people get out of high school, most leave. That is why they are small.

Not all of them are, but the one I live in is, since there's pretty much nothing actually in the town. There's fun stuff nearby though, so at least I'm not in the middle of nowhere.

They can be. We have to travel 20 or more miles if we want to go to a mall or the movies. We only have a few restaurants, a bar, a Walmart, 1 grocery store. It can be pretty boring to be honest with you.

I live in a small city and I think it's fun! There are two movie theatres, a mall, clubs, lots of stores, lots of fast food and restaraunts. It may not seem small, but trust me, we have no free land heh :) I love it.

Sometimes, but people learn to find things to amuse themselves and the house parties are insane.
