It's going off like every hour. I looked outside and there's nobody or cats out there. It turns off when I hit the button, but sure enough, an hour later, here it goes again. We have to have alarms on at night in this neighborhood. What could be the problem and how can I fix it?

Change the battery in the remote or in the car?

Replace your cars battery.
It's not holding a charge very well, and the alarm is recognizing the voltage drop and thinking a door is open draing the battery.

My alarm went crazy once and kept going off while I was driving. It looked like I was stealing my own car. Turned out it was just the battery in my key less entry. I would check that first.

someone else with the same make could be triggering it, i clicked my alarm button for my lincoln out in walmart and low and behold a lincoln(other model) went off the same exact time, and i deactivated and low and behold they both deactivated..and both of the cars were right next to each other..

the alarm may be set on a high sensitivity. if you have the manual you may be able to adjust it, or other wise, look for a manual online, or take it back to the place it was installed.
