on front it has an eagle on a flowerd branch. on back side it has libertad on some kind of crown with spike type design it says around the edge of coi 8 R.M.1878.M.10D.20G. what is this and what is the value fair shape, I dont think ist benn cleaned thanks

You have a Mexico 8 Reales coin. It is 90.3% silver and contains .78 ounces of silver. It should look like the one for sale on eBay that i have provided a link to below. It is probably from the Mexico City mint (There should be two letters on either side of the date. The two letters to the left are the mint mark, and the two letters to the right are the mintmaster's initials. For the one I have linked to, the "Pi" is the mint mark of San Luis Potosi and the "MH" is the assayers initials)
