My girlfriend asked me out and I shot her down without even knowing it!! I think it was really cool that she tried. A couple weeks later, I built up the courage to finally ask her out. She asked why I shot her down two weeks ago. We laugh about it today. It's definitely more than okay for the girl to make the first move.
