If you chew it long enough you will burn the 10 calories; i wouldnt recommend swallowing gum anyways

It's for the whole stick whatever way you decide to get rid of the gum is up to you the calories have been chewed dry.

good question, probably chewing as it is called chewing gum but can you get calories from something that you don't eat?

Swallowing as well. You get more of the calories from the actual chewing and swallowing of the "flavor". If you just swallowed it whole it would be the same. 10 calories.

Normally it is for serving size, I would think that would include whether you chew or swallow it. I do not see how the caloric intake could be increased by swallowing it.

10 Calories comes from the liquified sugar that you ingest and digest. It probably doesn't include the calories involved in chewing. Consider investing in iceberg lettuce if you want a mouth exercise ;)
