It's called mittleschmertz or "middle pain" Some women feel cramping, or twinges of pain in the abdomen during ovulation

It's not your stomach, its your ovary. The stomach is the organ that processes food. The ovary is the organ that releases the ovum during ovulation. Some women experience a pinch or a twinge when they ovulate. It has a name-Mittelschmerz.

Not your stomach, but you can have ovulation cramps and pains. Mine were very noticeable, almost like period cramps. Sometimes they feel like sharp pains or twinges.
