Anyone From Boone, Ottumwa, Grinnel, Manchester, Ankeny, Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, Fayette?

My wife is from Iowa City and I lived there for 5 years and get back quite often. I also lived for 4 years in LeMars in the NW part of the state. I loved living in Iowa. The people are so friendly, particularly in the small towns.

it is part of a larger region known as the Quad Cities, and is about an hour's drive from Iowa City

I was for 31 years. The north central area near Iowa Falls. I went to college near IC and CR and IF. Thank God I moved. People are backstabbers, bigots, gossips, and lousy drivers. (Which I only realized after I moved to CA, can you believe that?) I still have friends in CR though. I might go back someday to a reunion.
