You can parcel out a lot of blame by second-guessing. You could blame Bush Sr. for not 'finishing the job' vs Sadam in GWI. You could blame Clinton for not having bin Laden assassinated. You could speculate that Bush jr launched the war in Iraq to gain military bases in that country, so the ones in Saudi Arabia could be closed (which, IIRC, is just want happened).

But, really, the most logical people to blame for 9/11 are the ones who actually did it. However terrible thier grievances, there were other ways to proceed than mass murder that would only invite retaliation.

Most people point to having permanent US Bases in Saudi Arabia with the reason why groups like Al Qaeda started focusing on the USA.

Well Bush Jr has since removed ALL of our troups from Saudi Arabia . . . something the U.S. has never done before in any country we have had troops or bases in.
Wonder why? .. . . .

i don't think thats a good connection. He should've finished the job in iraq the first time though. The whole government failed us on 9/11, blame the whole bunch.

Actually, I *do* blame him in part for the mess in Iraq - he should have finished the job, not hung those Iraqis who helped us out to dry.
