Is Ghost Recon a book?

The game says Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon but I can't find a book. Was the idea just created by him or are the books hard to find?

Ghost Recon is a game created by Tom Clancy, not based on a book. I don't believe that it has been spun off to books series yet either like Splinter Cell has.
