Vince Young on the cover? Why?
Reggie Bush would have been a stretch, but why Vince Young? I think he has great potential and he is a super athlete, but what is he doing on the Madden cover?
Madden seems to be a misnomer anyhow. I mean, if John Madden got to pick the cover guys, don't you think that there would be some offensive linemen on the cover or a few more defensive guys?
You can't tell me that Vince Young belongs on that cover above the likes of Champ Bailey and scores of others.
For that matter, why not Tony Romo on the cover?
It's more like "Marketing 08".
To answer your question, I hope that he doesn't get hurt and I don't think he will.

I don't think the Madden jinx will happen to Vince, especially the question is referring to him getting injuried this year. Now any other year is a different story. Young will more than likely get some sort of injury, but I don't think it will be anything major; like something that will keep him out of over one game. He'll probably get small injuries that'll keep on the sideline for a play or two........ or perhaps several minutes.
Ray Lewis managed to avoid the jinx. He didn't get injuried the same year that he was on the cover. Lewis was injuried the season afterwards. If Lewis can beat the so-called jinx, then Vince Young to do the same.

I doubt it, because Young is a new face in the NFL. No way the 2006 Rookie of the Year will fall into the Madden cover curse.

Vince is a great player. He is a fast and mobile QB. He is strong though. He will also be on madden though. Because he is a scrambler i belive he will get injured because he will be tackled hard and land at a strange angle. He will probably get injured.

Something tells me that he might be injury prone. I don't know. Is he on the cover of this year's Madden football game? I was expecting to see L.T. on it.

He already has...he squirted lemon juice in his eye, and slipped on a hot dog in his kitchen, spraining his knee. MRI was negative, but he'll miss the start of the season.
