I have a 1994 RM 250 engine in a micro sprint Race car. It has a 38mm mikuni power jet flat slide carb., K&N clamp on air filter.. I'm not sure if this is even the carb that came on it.. Engine is stock, other than some porting & maybe a set of reeds, & an ESR pipe.. Can somebody give me an idea of which jets I should run? Thank you..

One of the major problems we've seen with jetting on the micro sprints and shifter carts is that sometimes the chassis designer will install the engine at a slightly more rotated angle than the engine sat in the stock motorcycle chassis. This tips the carb up, and changes the float settings.

Check to be sure the floats are allowing enough fuel (and not too much) in, and that the level is correct before you do any other jetting. And then get that info from Guardrailjim!

my best advice is to find out what came in the carb stock,if that is the stock carb and what mods are done to the motor.
