Do I need to sand and restain my whole table or can I just do the section that needs it?

Some fingernail polish was spilt which caused the finish to mess up in about a 12 inch circle on the corner. Do I have to redo the whole table top?

The only way to do it, is to strip it down and start over. sorry but that's the truth. good luck

You would be better off stripping the whole top and starting over. Unless you have lots and lots of experience in wood finishing you be able to see where you tried to fix the table.

You would never be able to match in a patch. It would be quicker and easier to do the whole thing.
