While it's normal to feel "light-headed" on rare occasions, if it happens a lot it could have an under-lying cause. For example someone who is anemic (fewer red blood cells, and fewer hemoglobin in the body to deliver oxygen, not to mention a deficiency in iron)
If it continues consult a doctor with the symptoms.

I've had similar experience, several times as a matter of fact- once when I was getting out of the shower and wrapping towel over my head I bend over and felt so dizzy I thought I'm going to throw up. I actually went to the ER and explained my symptoms, the doctor told me that it's vertigo. Sometimes if you have a cold and some liquid gets into your ear you may experience vertigo problem where you will feel dizzy as if you are spinning or you're drunk. If this continuous, see your doctor. This is nothing dangerous, but extremely unpleasant feeling and there is not reason you need to suffer.

It can be so many different things. Do you have your period right now? Or is due in the next few days? That can be the simplest of reasons. Although it has happened before you should have your parents take you to see your doctor. You may be anemic - not enough iron in your blood, or you may be hypoglycemic - your glucose (sugar) may be low. If it only happens after a shower you might have the water too hot. What ever the reason a doctor needs to be consulted.

Well if it wasnt hapening so often, and you werent so young it would sound like you were having a stroke.....but it sounds more like you are just standing up too fast.......you have to be careful with that. Its pretty rare for this to happen but sombody has died from it before. Does it normally happen when your laying down...that is normal. If its happening more when your walking or standing up then it could be more serious. The reason it happens when your laying sown is because when your laying down your blood gets used to flowing horizontally, and then when you atand up the blood has to go against gravity to stay in your head. So just go to the doctor anyway to make sure its not more seriouse then you think. Hope this helps....=)

It used to happen to me all the time. You are probably dehydrated. Drink some water and tell your parents as soon as they get home. You might need to see a doctor, if the water doesn't make you feel better.
Your blood pressure is dropping suddenly - it happens in people who are dehydrated when they change positions, or take a hot shower. If there is some other reason for your drop in blood pressure, then you will need a doctor to diagnose and treat the condition.

I have the dizziness and my whole body just seems to fall limp. It usually happens when you get up quickly after sitting or laying down for a long period of time without letting the blood get to your brain.
You could be dehydrated or over tired at the time.

If not this, contact your doctor ASAP!
Good Luck!

Assuming you are eating properly (are not suffering from an eating disorder), and are not pregnant... It is probably nothing to worry about, but you should first talk with your parents. Hopefully they will take you to a good doctor who can do some blood work to determine if you are anemic or if there is some other underlying cause.

Low blood pressure can cause similar symptoms.
Are you eating ok? You are not bulimic or anorexic are you? Not eating could cause the same problems.
Either way if this is a frequent thing you need to tell your mom and be evaluated.
