I doubt that they will. Its all about money and the fact of the matter is, words like that sell. People buy their records BECAUSE they're offensive, BECAUSE they discriminate and put gays and women down. Its all part of the gangster image they want to cultivate and so many want to emulate. How's a politically correct and sensitive rap artist going to sell records? That's for Celine Dion fans! Rap sells, largely because its offensive. Though I admire Mr. Simmons' stand and would love to see it happen, eliminating words like that takes money out of artists' pockets, its as simple as that. I wonder if this might even lead to MORE offensive language now, just to make a statement?

I highly doubt it I'm just wondering will this lead to the whole industry blanking out those words on all future recordings. Alot of artists use those words so if that happends it may become an industry standard for all genres of music. But personally I think this is just Mr. Simmons way of trying to look like he's doing something to compromice with Mr. Sharpton.

Emily knew the regulations in the previous she went in so in case you cant carry on with them...pay the fee. i understand some sense that reclaiming the observe will make it much less hurtful for black human beings yet in my view i think of the assumption of it as a term of empowerment is ridiculous. gay human beings each and every now and then call themselves queer for the comparable reason, which i continuously recognised as a derogatory term. possibly it incredibly works for some. i think of it incredibly is utilized in rap because of the fact those that use the observe decide to offend and degrade, no count if its their very own human beings or women individuals while they pass on approximately bitches and ho's. lots of rap song is offensive as is rock and heavy metallic the place the N observe is extensively utilized. So in short...offensive to the black community and optimistically to each community.
