honest opinion?

I put my honest opinion, hoping the asker will take into consideration that not everyone will agree with them. I hope you all do too.

My honest opinion - if they don't want honesty - then they shouldn't be asking. I believe thats what so nice about this - seeing the different opinions. But I also like to know their reasonings.

In a case like that, I will put my honest and genuine Answer. Mostly to serious Life Questions. For most others, I will try to put an Answer that the Asker might give 10 points too, or if not that, at least give a few people some laughs.

Honest opinion, and if that isn't what they wanted to hear, then they should really say that or just not ask at all. I like honest opinions when I ask questions, so I think everyone should. That's the "honest" :) thing to do.

Honest opinion

In my honest opinion, misinformation is worse than the wrong information. When someone poses a question it is safe to assume they do not have the answers, therefore they turn to others for insight and potential guidance. Sometimes the right answer isn't the most pleasant, but telling them what you feel they want to hear, could pacify them in the short term, but will you be helping them by arming them with the wrong information? In the long run you may be hurting them more by concealing their ego than if you just be straight forward with them.

Take a look at the number of thumbs-down that I've gotten on certain questions, and the answer to your question will be crystal clear. I try to be honest and diplomatic, but I won't water down what I believe to be the truth just to make someone else happy.

And then there are times when someone just hits my snarky button with both hands. I don't suffer the deliberately obtuse, period -- let alone gladly. I can guarantee you that my answer is not going to be what they want to hear.

I always put what I feel is an honest answer. I don't care if it agrees with the asker or not. If they don't like it then that is perfectly fine with me.

Sometimes I think twice about it...because if I give my very honest opinion I end up getting a violation. Which means somebody didn't like to hear the honest truth.

What would be the point of this if we didn't put down our sincere and honest opinions? I always try to see the problem from the asker's point of view.
