emo kids?????

Question

what colors can emo ppl wear? im kind of emo and i alway wear black but not like goth...can i wear other colors too? i always wear black, wristbands and stuff but my friends want me to wear color =[

just wear whatever u want!!! wear the colors u want & don`t worry about what anyone else thinks or says...it`s just not worth it!!! u should try to please yourself foremost, that is the most important thing!!!

Emotional Kids rock! But I never thought of emo as being a fashion statement. I say "wear whatever you want!" If you were to look into my closet, you would find half of it pink, the other half black. But of course I have a few pieces of other colours tucked in. I've always found that mixing it up provided the best outfits that showed off my emo side while not looking completely dark and morbid. I'm assuming this is a female asking the question, my advice is to wear your fav black tshirts with denim or plaid or twill skirt/pants, with colourful or striped socks/tights. Colourful shoes can be fun too. If I totally missed the mark and this is for a male: same idea but I find layering shirts looks great on emo guys. For example, a coloured polo with a black band tshirt over it with jeans or some other pants looks awesome.
For me, fashion is a personal statement. Wear what you want, and be comfortable. :D

i dont know if i would consider myself emo but...
i like to wear black. But bright colors are nice too! =)
Like rainbow colored wristbands (no im not gay) x(

ok..so emos can really wear any color i would say..ive seen it done a lot..and every time the rock @ wearing it 2! it just depends on how u wear it. ^^ it really looks great with black and some random color goes good...KEEP 'EM GUESSIN!..but still u have that emo feel! ^_^

Wear what you like, being emo doesn't restrict you to wearing only black, wear what you feel comfortable with. Emo ppl wear colour alot where I am, just maybe not super bright eye-catchingly bright colours, and they wear black with colours too, lol. ^-^

Girl....dont be afraid to be GREAT! wear what looks best on you. for me, wen i get tan, i'll wear a bright yellow tank top. pink is the BEST color if you are looking to be girly and fun. blue and orange arent that girly or fun...to me. Try to have new bold patterns...or any patterns at that! but if black is always ganna be your thing....wear black all you want girl. but at least add some bright bright pearls, earings, bangles, ect. maybe even metalics....not in apparal though....but for the eyes. instead of putting on black liquid eye liner, go for the matalic silver or gold liquid eye liner. it will give you a more egdy yet so sufisticated look that not alot of people have because they are wearing black eye liner! so be colorful...wear your fav color other than black...but most important, BE YOU!

well, im not at ALL emo myself, but i suppose if you wanted to wear colors, then you should!!
i mean, emo or not, colours look good on EVERYONE and they tottaly make your face glow and gives you an inviting aura, instead of an unapproachable emo.

I go to shows and love to listen to emo/punk/hardcore/scremo. i shop everywhere from salvation army to gap to hot topic and saks fifth avenue and wear everything from checkered vans and uggs,band shirts from hot topic and lacoste cardigans.Where what you like instead of trying to live up to some lame stereotype

a lot of people who i see that are emo mix black with a bright color.

some good combinations are black and yellow, black and red, hot pink (no other pink really works tho.), orange, bright green.

these are fun color which keep you from looking gothic but still keep that emo feel.

some emos in my town wear dark or royal purple shirts. like fabe hoodies come in those colors. they layer the shirts with black t-shirts on top. you should shop at fabe or rainbow. they have the purple colors and black. believe me, my friends are emo and they luv black and purple or a black and blood red combos.
