There are several, particularly in the early era...most recently were Jason White (QB-Oklahoma) and Charlie Ward (QB-FSU)

Most Heisman winners that did not go on to play pro ball were in the time before professional football carried the respect and salary it does today. Most modern-day teams will at least give a Heisman winner a tryout, but of the two aforementioned players, Jason White had terrible knees and questionable arm strength. He tried out for teams but never made a roster. Charlie Ward was undrafted in the NFL draft but a few months later was a first round pick by the Knicks in the NBA Draft.
