it depends on what you look like and if you really think you could pull off that look or not. just remember, if you get the piercings, they are permanent.

I'm a huge fan of piercings! Go for it!
Studs can be very easy to take care of. Although someone mentioned that it is "permanent," that's only half true. If you take proper care of your piercing, there will be minimal scarring, so even after you take the jewlery out for good, it won't be too noticable.
My advice is to start with a small and simple, without flashy colours or jews, just in case you are not satisfied with the piercing and to have it look more professional. Wait until it is FULLY healed before changing the jewlery. Make sure the person who is giving the piercing is clean and professional. Check out the salon/tattoo parlor to make sure it is clean and they use proper sterilization equipment. Lastly, do not get your nose pierced with a ear piercing gun!! These guns cannot be fully sanitized and they forcefully insert the jewlery into you skin. Using the clamp and needle procedure is cleaner and less painful since it eases the jewlery into your skin. Be careful blowing your nose for a while and don't touch the piercing unless you wash your hands first. Clean the area with antibaterial soap and soak it with epson salt- or whatever the piercing professional advises. Don't use contact solution. Use polysporin sparingly and only if the area is infected. Everyone's body heals differently, some people need 6 months before they change jewlery, some people need more, like a year. You skin will let you know when it is healed.
Some people believe it is only punks and troublesome kids who get facial piercings, but a well groomed and well maintained person can make any piercing look sophisticated and flattering.
Happy piercings!! :)

If you're of the legal age when why not? I loved having my nose pierced. As soon as I pop this baby out I'm going to get it done again. Make sure though that you don't get it pierced with one of those piercing guns that places like Claires and stuff use for your earlobes. Go into an actual tattoo and piercing shop and have it done the right way or else you can get infected and a scar tissue bubble.

I think it is something you should give some thought to before deciding. I have had mine for a little over a year and I love it. It takes a lot of care at first so consider that when you are making your decision. A nostril piercing takes about three to six months to heal, sometimes more. During that time you should clean it with a medicated soap (I use provon) and clean it with a hot water and sea salt solution daily. Just remember though, if you don't like it you can always take it out. Nothing says it has to be a permanent decision!

Go for it. But yeah, like everyone else said, be careful with it's size; and make sure everything is sterile before you get anything done (obviously). An infection on a nose piercing is not remotely pleasant to look at.

Go with it! Just try not to make the stud too big because it isn't at all attractive!

Yes! Be as trendy as possible by trying to be as rebellious as possible and stand out from the crowd just like all of your friends. So in your case you would be joining the crowd. It's up to you as long as you do it now!
