Try an eyebrow shaping wax kit. I use the 'Superdrug' own brand, its £1.99 for 6 sets. Lasts me about a month! They are great for creating a good shape. I have quite long eye brows and every weekend i thin them out by getting an eyebrow comb, combing the hairs towards my forehead and trimming then to the top of my eye brow shape with a pair of nail scissors. This i feel will help you get rid of your 2 tone eye brow problem and also keep your long eye brows under control! And a word of advice...it is difficult to REALLY see your eye brows yourself (especially when tweezing) so it is always a good idea to get a mate to sit with you or give judgement on them. Or at the VERY least do a little section and take a step back, change mirrors or something. This will help you to stop taking that little bit too much off the eye brow as you can see when you should stop better from a distance!

At home tweezing- using a eyebrow brush, brush your hair up. Using the tweezers start at the outer part of the brow and only pluck the hairs at the bottom and work your way inwards. You can start and the bottom and work your way upwards depending upon how thin you want your eyebrows. If that doesn't work just go to a professional at a salon and they should be able to achieve the look you want for about $10.
Happy Tweezing !

Here is an option, when tweezing, (I DO NOT reccommend waxing), pluck hairs in the middle, working out. You also want to shape the outside of the brow, but to make them not look so full and dark, pluck some of the hairs in the middle, leaving longer, plusher, straighter ones to fill out the brow. Not ALL of your eyebrow hairs are curly and uneven, so save the straighter ones, and pluck most of the ones that don't work. If there are to many, try shaping them as best you can, and in the morning, spray a little hair spray on your fingers, and run it across the brow to tame them. They will stay down most of the day and wont look sticky or waxy like a lot of hairspray would. Carpe Diem & good luck to you!

you should leave the arch natural and pluck any strays. get an small scissors for eyebrow and facial hairs and cut the hairs on top that stick up straight across. leave the front of your eye brow medium sized and the end a little bit thin but natural looking.

If you are doing it for the first time, go have it done professionally. It would be easier, and more worth the money. Because first timers usually messed up even with the best tips. If you get it done professionally, it would save you much time and money wise if you weigh out the pros and cons, which I won't. But basically, she would shape your brows for you and all you would have to do after that is the pluck the stray hairs out every month.

You can comb your brows upwards and use a small pair of scissors (maybe mustache scissors) to trim them just a bit. Be careful not to trim too much... you can always take more off but if you overdo it you will have to wait for it to grow back!
You can also use hair color to make them all one color. Be careful you don't try to lighten too much because they will turn orange... AND be careful not to get the mixture into your eyes. It tends to drip.

Depends where you live. If in bigger city, find salon in middle-eastern or Indian-Pakistani neighborhood to do something called "threading". They use a piece of cotton thread to shape and trim brows, they can get exactly what you want.
Best part is, it doesn't hurt a bit.

Go to a professional for shaping and tips first. Then maintain them with tweezing after that.
