Don't stress. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Drink lots of milk, water, juice. Cut down on caffeine to one cup a day. Be gentle when you have sex. Take lots of prenatal vitamins and folic acid. Don't smoke, drink, or do drugs. Always ask your doctor before taking any over the counter medicine. Make sure you cut down on sweets and get plenty of rest. Also if your dizzy lay down. Be careful getting in and out of the tub as pregnancy can throw you off balance. Don't be around people who smoke. Don't lift heavy things.

congrats!! there's really no way to stop a miscarriage. it happens for a reason. but you can help prevent it by following dr.'s orders & especially don't lift anything heavy. i had a 4 year old at the time & miscarried. now i have a 5 1/2 week old. turns out the reason i miscarried was because my 4 yr.old had cancer & we didn't know it, til it was a stage 4 cancer there is only 5 stages to the cancer he has & when we found out it was oct. of "06"& i would have just had the baby at any time that month. but i can honestly say it was for the best at least in my case anyway.

Congratulations!
When I first found out I was pregnant I was so worried about miscarrying...I even stopped having having sex with my husband for fear of causing a miscarriage. But don't worry sex doesn't bother it i found out.
There isn't much you can do to prevent a miscarriage. Usually a miscarriage means that something was wrong wtih the baby and your body knows. But to prevent problems eat healthy, supply your baby with plenty of vitamins and minerals and don't put your body under a lot of stress or strenuous activity. GOOD LUCK!

I just found out I was pregnant too! This is my third. The first two were conceived on 100 mg of Clomid. This one just happened! I am on progesterone suppositories as with the other two. They didn't check my levels just put me on it cause I was on it with the other two. They usually put you on it after Clomid so ask your doc if you are concerned.

Have you miscarried before and if so what type? Sorry if that sounds insensitive. No body wants to miscarry. Congratulations and hope you have a healthy baby. I am 30 weeks now with my first baby.

Ive had one miscarriage and one healthy pregnancy, the difference between the two were stress levels. Just try your best not to get upset and worried, plenty of fluids and take it easy.

Have you miscarried before? If so, follow your doctor's advice throughout the pregnancy, and keep it carefully monitored. You shouldn't have any problems.

THE ONLY ADVICE I CAN GIVE YOU IS TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. EXERCISE LIGHTLY, SWIMMING IS BEST, AND EAT RIGHT, ALSO WATCH YOUR STRESS LEVELS. JUST ENJOY THIS PREGNANCY AS MUCH AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN. AS LONG AS YOUR DR IS MONITORING YOU, YOU SHOULD BE FINE.
CONGRATS ON YOUR PREGNANCY.
