In a recent global TIME magazine poll of countries, people were asked to rate a country as having a negative, positive, or neutral impact on the rest of the world. 19% viewed the US as nuetral, 51% as negative, and only 30% positive. The worst five, ranked from least to "most" liked were:

Russia
North Korea
US
Iran
Israeal

Now look at that list again. The US is only better than Russia and North Korea. Iran is better for the world than the US.
By now, I bet most Americans reading this are in outcry. I am a born American. And you know what? I am with that 51% of countries who hate us. With Bush as our mascot, I'm not surprised at these stats. But it's not just Bush. Look at the catastophe in Iraq. Look at our nation where OBESITY is a problem in a starving world. Look at the US refusing to sign global enviornmental treaties. Look, and wake up.

Now, the question is, what has this changed for you? And how will the Americans out there influence the world when it comes to vote in 2008?

Did you ever stop to think the people who said they hate America, also would live here if they had the chance. Polls can be misleading if they are misread. Which you have clearly done. Don't forget, America was hated by many people way before Bush took office. If you look at most civilized nations, obesity is a problem because of convenience, more than food availability. There's more to these issues than the cookie cutter questions and answers you seek. Read more than one issue of Time magazine, it might do you some good.

Our country has long been resented by other countries. If you read some of the things this country has done to others it is no wonder. Check all the other countries and find out how many countries we are not allowed to enter, that tells you a lot also. Hopefully someone will step up who can turn this country around, however it could be too late. I have seen no one yet throw their hat into the rink that could help us out of our situation.

Not everybody hates America, so your question is bogus. And if you hate America I have a suggestion for you: get out. My wife is a German citizen who's family was on the wrong side of the Berlin Wall and risked death to cross it. She loves this country more than most Americans, apparently, including you. And, btw, there are 300,000,000 Americans - I am one of those who NEVER wonders why the rest of the world hates America, because I don't believe it, and frankly, I don't care. I didn't vote for Bush. I suggest you move to North Korea for a while to see just how good you really have it here.

American's are so brainwashed by the idea of "patriotism", they think it's better to accept these things and not question them. To admit that are country has some serious problems that need to be addressed is now considered "unpatriotic" How convenient for the administration. It's really sad.

Americans are to prideful, to care what any other country thinks of them. And how are the politicians going to do anything, when they are under the influence of Satan?
