I am suppose to go on a trip tommorrow and have had breakthroughs for the last 7days starting on the 14th. I took two birth control pills at the same time. I am hoping that will work. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Keep taking the birth control pills until your trip is over.

Bad idea. Doubling up on your pills is NOT more effective, it just sends your hormones even more crazy. Try to stay on a steady schedule, take one pill a day, and always at the same time every day.
Meanwhile, bring along some tampons.

In the future, you can skip your "period" week by starting your new pack on the day you would usually start your week of placebo pills.

You should not have taken two at the same time.

You should have discussed it with your doctor. They probably would have given you something or done something to help you, or at least advised you properly.

Now you'll experience side affects of taking two pills at the same time.
