Depends on more then one thing.....
1. How many time have you ran
2. Do you have a record?
3. Where are you picked up at, meaning if you are in another state it can be longer until someone comes to that location and get you.
USUALLY you would be reported as a run away, police find you they can bring you home. If your parents say they want you to go to jail then you do. Juveniles see a judge each day (weekdays) so you could be released that next day. If there are other circumstances (example~ illegal activties while on the run, drugs, alcohol found) then you would probably get a few days longer.
But it all depends on your juvenile laws, look them up in your state.

It depends. Most parents wouldn't have their children put in juvenile detention. They would just be happy to have their child back. However, if the juvenile committed any crimes while they were gone, then the police would be forced to file charges. Then it depends on the crimes how long the juvenile is "locked" up.

Until the court gives you the time for a hearing. Then it is your turn to advise the court on your actions, and what you will do in the future to prevent these actions. If the court finds you guilty, you can spend up to x amount of time in the juvenile center based on the extend of the crime you caused. I'm 14, and want to become a lawyer:)

Depending on the situation, it wouldn't be long, if at all.
Most likely for a first-time offense, you'd get a pretty stern talking to, and probably be reccommended for counseling. Even for a second offense, a court order for counseling, and maybe probation or something, would be issued.
I would imagine they want to keep families intact as much as possible, and since teenagers who run away usually have some other issues, it would be better for society for the disturbed teen to get help than to go to juvie.

first why would u wanna run away? if someone abused you y not go to cops? or you can just wait til your 18! or get a job so you can support yourself.! I use to run away when i was in my teenage years it was fun but then again it gets old and tiresome! make sure when u do run away that you have plenty of money to spend for yourself! don't let friends or tehir family support you they work to support their family and you are not one of them . have some respect for your parents too! what do u thik they feel of they don't know where u at?you have to deal with problems if your facing that now I can understand running away coz i used to do that all the time but i understand why sometime you get pressured form them pressuring u it's bec. they actually want something that's good for u! my parents were so strict but now i wished I followed their advices! deal with your problems talk to your parents .. I'm telling u running away doesn't solve a thing you might get caught into bad situations and then too late to regret all of that! just wait until your old enough to live on your own but for now, why don't u do something good for your self!

Bon Jovi - Runaway BA: Yeah, it sort of feels they might consistently give up at my apartment on their method and I might speak them out of it. Maybe that is why they stopped through. I ran away whilst I was once in prime tuition. I bumped into my excellent (woman) buddy whilst I was once simply escaping the snatch of the vice main. I want I hadn't, on account that she involved such a lot approximately me. BA2: I haven't any suggestion. Some of them put up it on thier profile

Depends on where you are, the laws vary by state, and whether or not you are a first-time offender.

why would you wanto? but i think you actually can't, unless you do it repeatedly, or have done sometihng wrong. I suggest you don't, cause you don't have all the supplies needed, and if you try geta a job, they'll recognize you.
