my friend pierced her own nose, ears, and cartilidge and nothing happened, but you shouldnt take that chance. if it gets infected, go to a doctor or something and tell the person that did never to do it again!!! it can be sometimes
dangerous!! worst part about it (i pierced my own nose) is that it hurts alot. since i didnt want to do it proffessionally(dont know why, i did it last year) i used a sewing needle and ice. it hurt, yes, but i did it. i regretted it, but i let a doctor look at and it closed up and i eventuallly has it proffessionaly done!

Well my boyfriend did that. He desied to take it out though because it was rubbing the inside of his mouth weird. lol. but he didnt get an infection or anything

Dumb idea!!! there are reasons why people learn to do these things and get paid (well) for doing them! it's not safe in anyway for you to do it yourself ... don't do it at all would be my suggestion!
