First off thanks to those who really have ideas that could help, second no thanks to the ones that would rather earn 2 points by being rude, third I am asking this question in order to find a way to help not only myself but also start some sort of a foundation that would allow me to help other mothers that might be in the same boat, this is not me begging for someone else to pay for my mistakes if I wanted that then I would file chapter 7 or 13, Again thanks to those who have hearts and can really offer ideas and thoughts.

You would need to hold a fundraiser. It's the best way to raise money. Contact your local Salvation Army and let them know what you are trying to do. Most of the time, your local radio station might help. It you make it fun, like, if you raise $10,000 you'll shave your head or have a pie throwing contest, where each person wanting to throw a pie in you face will pay $5, more people are most likely to help as well.

Find local help for low income services as well, you might find that if you are resourceful you will find what you need.

Usually you can raise the money yourself with a little financial help. The trick to saving money is paying yourself first, even it from every check you save $5.

Most people touch their savings and if you have two children, whic is a no no. You really need a great nest egg.

Saving money means NOT touching your money.

People who live paycheck to paycheck are ones who can't be financially stable, it's not how much you make, it's how much you spend.

I think you would see that you might be able to raise the money yourself.

Get a second job, it would work. If you have the internet, find one that you can work online. (Watch our for scams!)

What, online? I can honestly say I am too busy to go dig out an envelope, find a dollar, and address it to someone I don't know. I'm not being mean -- I just figure that a lot of people would feel the same way.

This isn't the place to post it. The guy who sold pixels on his website made over a million!! If you get the idea into a marketable format, the money could come in. That is the AMERICAN dream. Notice we don't say AMERICAN'T

Make crafts and sell them on Ebay. Now, not everyone can make a grilled cheese sandwich with the imprint of the Virgin Mary on it, but there's a guy who makes kites and sells them at $20 each (I bought one).

There are plenty of people who have it a lot worse than you. Be thankful for your health and the health of your children. Apply for government assistance.
