Or what f he learns more about the hitters and becomes lights out? He hasnt been a bust there, he could be 4-0 except for 2 of his starts he go no run support. He is second in the league in strikeout, he has an averag of almost 8 strikeouts a game, and his ERA is misleading because he has only had one outting where he gave up a lto of runs. Every pitcher has a bad game and he had one last night but he got the win. You obviously have not watched him pitch besides last night and must not follow all the stats. Just another Yankee yahoo homer who knows nothing about the game. You think he is a bust but sorry to break it to you that he is better then any of your Yankees pitchers. Wait until the end of the year when he has 18 wins. You must be delusional if you think he is only going to have 4 more wins. Go SOX!

He struggled against the yankees, but most pitchers would. The yankees are a great offensive team bad pitching rotation right now. Dice K is going to worth the 102 million it's a lot of money, but I will be worth it in the end. It's a pretty good investment by what I've seen of him. He has a lot of potential. He threw a 250 pitch 17 inning game before. It's hard to time his release and hard to figure out with of his 7 pitches he will throw. Remember it is just April and he is still getting used to playing over here. His 2 losses this year wasn't even his fault. Because he only gave up 1 or 2 runs those games, but the red sox offense just wasn't there. Dice K just needs to learn to throw inside and work on his control in his fastball and needs to throw the so called "gyroball".

I wouldn't say he is a bust, considering his two losses were when he only got 1 run of support. Most pitchers in the majors have a hard time winning when there team doesn't support them in run support. But he is definitely not worth the 102 million, and the Yankees did expose his one big weakness. He has trouble picthing from the stretch.

Giving up six runs to the Yankees isn't owning them. LOL He isn't even the best Japanese pitcher on the team. He is way overpaid. He is a mediocre pitcher and will win about 12 games. Let's see how excited the Red Sox are in September. They should be proud that they lit up a AA pitcher. If the Yankees had a healthy bullpen (and it will get better) the sweep would have been the other way. Yuck it up while you can. Look over your shoulder Sox fans, Jays, Orioles, Yankees and Rays are coming!

There we go. Finally someone agrees with me that he's overrated. He's not worth that much. He's a bust. His win over the Yanks was a fluke. Because of Manny and the others. They won that game, not him, and besides, who's grabbing all the attention? A-Rod! 13 HR's in April, one shy of tying Pujols. Forget about Dice-K, and the Red Sox. It all comes down to October Baby, and when that time comes, the Sox will be home crying, and the Yanks will have the Pennant. Go Yankees! A-Rod AL MVP!!!

The Yankees are definitely not the Royals or Mariners that's for sure.
He's 2-2 and should have been 1-3 with an era of 4.00.
He has good stuff but he must understand that this is not Japan and you can not leave pitches over the fat part of the plate in the majors and not expect to get tagged in the process.

big al: letting up 5 runs to a team isn't owning them, and terry c.: they won 3 strait against the Yankees. I believe you may be mistaken as to when the Yankees beat the Sox 5 strait on '06... that ring a bell? ..... Sorry, yes, so far he is a bit overrated, but he has managed to give the Sox quality starts. But, he's definatley not dominating like he was in Japan.

I don't think he's overrated. He's been pitching pretty well, plus he hasn't found his groove yet. Wait until he does then watch out. Look what he did at the world baseball classic against major league competition.
Thats alot to say from a yankee fan, considering yankee fan's boo an MVP. I'll tell you what Yankee fan's are overrated. HATER!!!!!!!

Uh...Maybe you had a lapse in judgement from whatever it is you're smoking...because the Red Sox just won 3 in a row AGAINST THE YANKEES...and seems to me Dice K pitched better last night than Chase Wright, Mr. 4 HR in a row...Watch that tongue there, girlie...Maybe you should read the sports section before you spout of at the mouth...and you too, NY Guido...Does the Yankee meltdown in the ALCS OF 2004 when the Red Sox won the World Series ring a bell?...You all are sure focused on Dice K.'s stats...How did Chase Wright do last night?...Oh, yeah...He lost...TO DICE K...
